Zenith Condos Lobby

After over a decade of life, the Zenith building’s lobby was looking and feeling a bit tired and uninspiring to its residents.
They wanted a resident lobby that was welcoming and joyous with a personality to set it apart from other lobby spaces in the area…an energetic space to greet neighbors, meet friends and family, read a book by the fire, wait for a ride, or just look out onto Gold Medal Park.
DTC Design Unit used the building’s signature red fireplace as a jumping-off point to breathe life into this space. Dingy tile floors were replaced with simple polished concrete. Three primary zones were grounded with ribbed wool carpets. Existing modular furniture was reconfigured and recovered in vibrant, durable Danish wools. Vintage modernist pieces with playful lines were introduced to soften the space, and the DTC Workshop created an impressive elliptical custom top for a vintage pedestal table base. Residents now take pride in their lobby and enjoy their thoughtfully re-designed space.
