MPLS Peace Ride – April 18th

Yesterday, as I was walking to Urban Bean Coffee Shop in Uptown, I spotted a flyer for the upcoming Mpls Peace Ride tacked up on a telephone pole. I like peace and I like bicycling, so I thought I'd spread the word. The ride starts in the parking lot behind the fantastic Mid-century Modern Walker Library. From there, you'll circle the Uptown lakes, then head over to Lake Nokomis, and then up the West River Road. This is a peaceful ride promoting peace, so don't worry about any 'critical mass' type arrests. Wear yellow or blue and bring a $5 suggested donation for the Sophia Peace Center.
