The Modernization of a Danish Palace
March 31st, 2010
In preparation for his eventual ascension as King of Denmark, Prince Frederik VIII's mansion in the Amalienborg Palace complex has been renovated to suit his family and his political persona. Sensitive to tradition, yet modern and forward-looking, the palace could symbolically be seen as a veritable facade for the young royal. The first two floors are open to the public until May 30th, 2010.
